This governance area looks into four areas- health services, support to education services, support to housing & basic utilities and peace, security, disaster risk management. These four areas boost the governance area to achieve an average of 4.77, a high but not excellent rating.

The service area which contributed the lowest to the sector is Peace, Security & Disaster Risk Management with 4.45, hence, the priority area for improvement. Inspite of Sec. 422 of the Local Government Code of 1991, the data capture form reveals the lack of appropriations for Katarungang Pambarangay.

Support to education with 4.8 is also identified as an area to be improved and the Local School Board plays a major role in advancing the cause of those in need of quality education.

Health services obtained 4.82, a high but not excellent rating but can be improved with more active participation of the Local Health Board and the improvement of the quality of primary health care’s basic curative services.

Support to housing & basic utilities obtained 5.0 or excellent rating with the interventions in mass housing. Towards the end of the year, the memorandum of agreement between the LGU and the DSWD was signed for the provision of a mass housing project.
