The Municipality of Cabatuan proudly recognizes 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐞, the incumbent SK Chairman of Brgy. Macalaoat, Cabatuan for being the Regional Awardee of the Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) Program of the Department of Agriculture. Mr. Felipe was also awarded the Provincial counterpart of the said program last 2022 and was just recently recognized as the Outstanding Farmer of the 13th Tan-ok ti Cabatuan Awards during the 74th Founding Anniversary of the said municipality.

Now in its third year, the DA’s YFC Program, which is undertaken in collaboration with the office of Senator Imee Marcos and the Government Service Insurance System, offers financial grant assistance to young Filipinos eager to engage in new agri-fishery enterprises. The grant will serve as initial capital for their intended business endeavor.
