𝟐𝟎 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 — 𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐄 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐔𝐏𝐀𝐃 𝐏𝐚𝐲-𝐨𝐮𝐭

The Local Government Unit of Cabatuan headed by Mayor Charlton L. Uy thru the Municipal Public Employment Service Office (PESO) with Ms. Rizza G. Pascual (PESO Manager) welcomed the Department of Labor and Employment-Isabela (DOLE) delegation headed by Mr. Peczon L. Topinio to conduct the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) Payout.

The TUPAD program is a community-based safety net initiative that provides temporary employment to workers in the informal sector. It specifically targets the underemployed or workers who do not receive sufficient wages in their current jobs; the self-employed individuals who work for themselves; and the displaced marginalized workers or those who have lost their jobs or experienced reduced income due to the pandemic.

MEDICAL MISSION (Brgy. Del Corpuz)

The Local Government Unit of Cabatuan headed by Mayor Charlton L. Uy thru the Municipal Health Office of Cabatuan conducted a medical mission at Barangay Del Corpuz today.

These series of Medical missions are a way to help underserved communities by bringing healthcare professionals and volunteers together to improve health and well-being of every Cabatuanense.

In celebration of the National Youth Day, the Local Government of Cabatuan headed by Hon. Bernardo A. Garcia, Jr. thru the Local Youth Development Office with Mr. Darwin D. Diego as officer-in-charge and in partnership with the Municipal Tourism, Culture, and the Arts Council with Ms. Melinda R. Mendoza as the Municipal Tourism and Cultural Officer spearheaded the annual 𝙈𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 with the Grade-11 Students of Cabatuan National High School enrolled in the TVL Strand (Breads and Pastries) as participants.

Through this training, we introduce the muriecos making process, one of the OTOPs of Cabatuan, to the youth of this municipality. This activity shall pave the way for the younger generations to be familiarized with our town’s cultural heritage and tradition of Kankanen making.

Section 30 of Republic Act No. 10742, the Sanggunian Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 mandates the observance of Linggo ng Kabataan in very barangay, municipality, city and province on the week where the 12th of August falls to coincide with the International Youth Day

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING

DOH-RO2 Conducted a 2 Days Basic Life Support Training for our Cabatuan Rescue 24/7 Personnel held at Municipal Training Hall on July 3-4, 2023. The said activity/training is to enhance the fundamental skills and knowledge related to rescue operations, first aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
