Guron received the Seal of Child Friendly Local Governance from the Department of Interior and Local Government during the 2024 Regional Awarding Ceremonies for Local Government Units in Tuguegarao City.

The Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) assesses how well local governments implement child-friendly policies, programs, and services. The audit results help identify areas for improvement and inform the development of new programs and projects.

The Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance (SCFLG) recognizes cities and municipalities that excel in implementing child-friendly program.
